2. Scope

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, the legal bases we rely on, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 (and the EU GDPR where applicable).

3. What we collect

You provide:

  • Account data: name, email, password (stored hashed), and authentication identifiers if you sign in with Google, Apple or Facebook.
  • Identity / verification data where required to provision a phone number (for example an address, and in some countries identity documents required by telecom regulators).
  • Payment data: handled by our payment processors (such as app-store in-app purchase and third-party payment providers). We do not store full card numbers.
  • Your contacts, only if you grant permission, to enable calling and messaging.

Generated through your use:

  • The virtual phone number(s) assigned to you.
  • Communications metadata: numbers involved, timestamps, call duration, message delivery status and similar routing data.
  • Communications content: SMS/MMS content and, where you use it, in-app chat content. We do not record voice calls unless a feature you explicitly enable (for example voicemail) requires it.
  • Device and technical data: device type, OS, push tokens, app version, IP address and diagnostic logs.
  • Usage and billing data: credit balance, transactions and feature usage.

6. Acceptable use and no anonymity

Telizy is a privacy tool for keeping your primary number private — not an anonymity or "burner" service. See our Terms and Conditions for the full Acceptable Use rules.

  • Cloud platform provider — authentication, database and push messaging.
  • Push notification services — notifications.
  • App-store billing & payment processors — subscriptions and payments.
  • Professional advisors, and authorities where legally required.

We do not sell your personal data. Mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS opt-in/consent data) will never be shared or sold to third parties, affiliates, or lead-generation companies for marketing or promotional purposes. A current list of sub-processors is available on request at .

9. International transfers

Some processors are outside the UK/EEA. Where data is transferred internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards (UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or the processor's Binding Corporate Rules), including under our processors' Data Protection Addenda.

10. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it, subject to legal and regulatory retention requirements (for example billing records and telecom or tax obligations). You can request deletion (see Your rights).

11. Your rights

Under UK/EU GDPR you may: access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent. To exercise these, contact . You may also complain to the UK ICO (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.

13. Children

Telizy is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
